They have just tied the knot in a lavish ceremony with a host of celebrity guests at a country castle.
But rather than head off on an exotic honeymoon, Jamie Vardy and his new wife Rebekah were spotted close to home in a local park with their 19-month-old daughter.
The couple looked the picture of happiness as they strolled together and played with little Sofia, who was even able to show off her football skills to dad Jamie, whose team Leicester City – rank outsiders for the title – made history by winning the Premier League this season.
Jamie, 29, who has been selected for the England team at the Euro 2016 Championship, moved his wedding date three times to accommodate training commitments and will be postponing an opulent honeymoon until next year.
The sporting star seemed perfectly content, however, to spend quality time with his new wife and daughter at the park and beamed for photos.
The bride wore a designer Caroline Castigliano gown and the couple’s daughter Sofia was a flower girl.
Despite a roll call of famous faces at the ceremony, Jamie’s parents, who have not spoken to their son in over a year, due to an apparent row over his new bride Becky, were absent from proceedings.
Mother Lisa and stepfather Phil, who raised Jamie since he was a baby, told the Daily Star they would not be at the wedding to watch their son tie the knot.
